ELKHORN CAMPGROUNDS
REGULATIONS

  • Campsites are marked by markers in the ground in the front of your campsite.

  • All Campers must be registered online or in the Walworth County Fairgrounds Office prior to arrival.

  • Campers do not have to check in or out at the Fairgrounds Office as long as you have registered/paid online. 

  • Departure by 11:00 A.M / Arrival is 12:00 P.M. 

  • All registered Campers will be held responsible for any unlawful actions by anyone using their Camper and/or Campsite.

  • All water and holding tank waste must be disposed of in sewer, or by tote tank or bucket. Anyone found disposing water or waste run on the ground will be subject to a fine and asked to leave.

  • ABSOLUTELY NO WATER DUMPED ON THE GROUND.

  • NO WASHER OR DRYERS are to be used while in the Campground.

  • Pets on leashes are welcome, if necessary, in the campgrounds. Please keep your pet on your campsite and please clean up after your pet!! 

  • NO PETS IN THE RESTROOMS OR SHOWERS.

  • All pets must have current vaccinations and have proof of such vaccinations upon request of Campground Staff.

  • QUIET HOURS – 11:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.

  • Please put all garbage in plastic bags and deposit in the barrels that are provided.

  • No sale of any goods including food, animals, etc. in the campground area.

  • PLEASE ONLY TWO CARS PER CAMPER.

  • NO CAMPFIRES AND COMMERCIAL COOKING FIRES PER CITY ORDINANCE.

  • You are able to have a campfire if you have a fireplace off the ground.

  • VIOLATORS OF ANY OF THE ABOVE REGULATIONS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.

  • NO SMOKING IN RESTROOMS OR SHOWERS.

Cancellations made within a week of the arrival date will result in a forfeiture of all deposits. Refunds must be requested before cancellation date. Campers who do not show up the first night’s reservation will forfeit all payments and the campsite will become available for first-come, first-served or new reservation.
