WELCOME TO ELKHORN CAMPGROUNDS
Whether you want to tent or stay in your camper, we've got what you need!
Elkhorn Campgrounds is located on the beautiful Walworth County Fairgrounds. This is a nice discount priced campground because it does not have the expensive frills.
You receive a nice camp spot with electric and water hook-up access, with dump stations on the grounds. Make sure to bring extra long cords to be sure you can connect to the water and electric outlets. Camper Adapters will be needed as well.
Because there is not a 24 hour attendant, late check-ins may pick an open site and come to the fair office in the morning for spot verification.
Affordable and conveniently located near shopping, dining, and entertainment.
This location makes the Elkhorn Campgrounds an ideal event site for event planners and visitors.
We're just an hour from Milwaukee, Madison, Kenosha, and Rockford, Illinois; just 10 minutes from Lake Geneva and 30 minutes from Janesville.
Elkhorn Campgrounds is close for the season. We will reopen in the Spring 2024. Thank you for a great year. See you next year.

FAIR TIME CAMPING

Staying on grounds at a campsite is a great way to enjoy the fun and festivities of the Walworth County Fair, the biggest county fair in Wisconsin! Over Labor Day weekend thousands of fair guests park their trailers and pitch their tents during the fair!
Please note there are events held on the fairgrounds where we do not offer camping; for example, the Antique Flea Market and Walworth County Fair. Please see our Calendar for other dates!
